Vintage double sided German porcelain serving dish, featuring a very beautiful bright red hand-painted lobster design by Carl Tielsch Altwasser on white porcelain. The lobster body serves as handle. Has 4 butter dishes & seafood forks.
Measures 13" x 10". VI 78 marked on bottom.
Can be used for lobster, seafood salads, crab legs, chips & dip, napkins, candy, etc.
Very popular during the late Victorian era and into the early 20th century.
Previously owned serving dish in excellent condition. No nicks, cracks, chips, scratches or repairs.
